Words cannot do this church justice by any means. It is a part of the faith that as to be experienced. Friday night I headed to see the Riverbats play the Mudhens with Fric but by a grace of God the game was rained out. Yes I was a bit disappointed by not being able to see the game but when I stepped into this great church all that disappointment was gone. Fric had mentioned that they had 24 hour Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration there and that we should go sometime while we were waiting to see if the game would be canceled so when the official cancelation came through I said lets head over that way. I was amazed to see the entire relics of two Saints in rest there. I’m not talking a finger bone or or a toe joint. I am talking the entire bodies in rest and the artwork of the church itself brings back the memories of the great Churchs I saw in Europe. I am now anxious to get to the Latin Tridentine Mass with Choir on Sunday at 12:30 before it disappears forever I fear.
Though the game was rained out it was a great evening of discussion, discovery, and Adoration of the Eucharist.
