I’ve been a Catholic now for 5 1/2 years. We’ve had 5 new priests since I joined the church … and must say that every one of them have been wonderful men of God. Up until 1 year ago, we were blessed with two priests in our parish – so 5 priests in 5 1/2 years is a bit misleading. It was hard to see Fr Dennis & Fr Michael leave since they were the ones I went through RCIA with, but each brings his own personality and “flavor” to Mass. I’ve been blessed to be a member of a parish who has had some very dynamic priests and servants of God – each who bring different strength to the parish community.

Welcome to the Church! May God continue to bless you and keep you close to Him.

Since the post you commented on is obviously not about your comment topic, I can only presume so. Especially since we haven’t been active of late.

However, I will remedy that tonight with a regular post taking you to task for all the slanderous things you say and imply about the Holy Father. So many things to say and so little time to do so.

I am ashamed to have been baptized a Catholic and, in good conscience, must renounce all association with the Holy See. The Pope has declared a “holy war” and the German Shepard’s action legitimizes, and will lead to, the increased persecution and slaughter of gay and lesbian people. The Church is purging its sins of negligence by crucifying a scapegoat, a familiar story to every Christian and Jew. Has a Nazi risen to the Throne of St. Peter? History shows us how the tragedy will end – charred pink triangles scattered amongst the ashes. Others will surely perish too. All who do not speak out against inhumanity share the shame and the sin. Will no one stand up against this horror?
I am in a profound state of fear and despair.
